We're looking for customer service-oriented, compassionate people who have a passion for working with the public and the experience with making connections with the Black community. We're committed to providing the best possible library services to our Black patrons, both in our buildings and in the community, and we seek someone who shares that commitment. Library Access Services Assistant (Black Cultural Competency)

At Multnomah County Library, we take pride in community and we're proud to be a part of the neighborhoods we serve. Our neighborhood locations help people learn, create, have fun and understand the world around them. We help people better understand each other and respect differences. It takes diverse staff to help facilitate that understanding. So, we strive to hire staff who reflect the communities we serve.
